مدينةٌ تتعلّم، معترفٌ بها عالمياًA learning city, recognized worldwide
في فبراير 2024 انضمّت مسقط رسمياً إلى شبكة اليونسكو العالمية لمدن التعلّم، ضمن ستّة محاورٍ للتعلّم مدى الحياة. In February 2024 Muscat officially joined the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, guided by six features of lifelong learning.

المتحف الوطنيNational Museum
مركز التعلّم فيه يقدّم عشرات الورش والمحاضرات والعروض للمجتمع كلَّ عام. Its Learning Centre offers dozens of workshops, lectures and performances each year.
